They are also significant Hebrew numbers. These are uneven numbers and family means there is one person more than is needed so I think this may have also been the reason they were enslaved and so Moses may have been one of the sacrifices why he was sent down the river.
I did read Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs in the 80’s and it had a whole section on numbers and a brief Hebrew history of numbers and of course there are lots of them in Economics. I think it was about increasing their numbers but to them the odd numbers were like an omen, it threw off their ritual which means it is likely Egyptian in origin but the Jews evolved it to fit into their culture.
