…when it is bombarded with lots of information, it shuts down, stops functioning, at least the limbic system does. I did say the limbic system is not a store house of information and there is evidence this is true from our acting our behavior, and through our communications throughout the centuries. So, flooding the mind with lots of information at once, such as what is often found on the Sci-Fi Channel, is useless, it’s like sperm trying to fertilize an egg, which one gets in seizes the brain. So when there is chaos in our environment it will be that which we train our brains to focus on, that gets our attention and helps us make decisions.
