My brain is the most important part of my body. It is the source of life in my body.* Through my eyes and ears my brain processes  information from my environment and stores it in the form of memory, especially if I am traumatized by what I have seen or heard.  This means my emotions all play an important part in the storage of information in my brain.  My brain and what I put into my brain controls all that goes on in my mind and body. * This is the mind body connection.  I have an excellent memory.  While growing up I often imitated my parents and what they did.  I am now free to stop imitating my parents, my peers or even children.  I do this by reflecting on what I’ve seen or heard. * I am free to make my own choices about what I say or how I choose to act in the world.  I was never breast fed as a child.  Rather than follow my mother and imitating her I focused on her hands.  I am now free from the influences of hands.   Others may try to use their hands to influence me but this will fail to manipulate my behavior.  Listening to what is said to me is vital to my safety * as another may try to control my behavior by using various means to distract my attention from what is really going on or being said.  This causes a dangerous split in my awareness so I am left vulnerable to external manipulations.  I want to stay whole and conscious. * I also want to avoid creating this splitting by avoiding too many enmeshments with other people.    Knowledge is power.  I now have power over the hands. * I am free to make conscious choices without hands being in the picture. I am free to avoid eye contact with people if it helps me hear what they are saying which is far more important to me.  Ideas I have read made me think the lack of eye contact meant a person was dishonest or deceptive.  That information was nothing more than the manipulation of ones thinking and behavior.  I am free to look wherever I choose when I am talking and to pay attention to what is being said to me.  I am free to agree or disagree with what is being said.
