…that Rand and Wallace were really talking about basically the same thing. She used different terminology to describe what we already have, only it’s tweaked a bit more loosely than her philosophy.
What I found more interesting than listening to her was what I heard Wallace saying about welfare, Social Security, taxes and all the other social aspects of economics in America. Those with the money believe in this only because it keeps them in power and the flow of money going in their direction while the majority wait for their handouts. This is not what Rand’s philosophy is about.
I don’t think she understood the majority of Russians were ignored as even existing and permitted to starve to death until the Bolshevik Revolution, that they were “special people” and others should be objective and sacrifice themselves. It all sounds like the Little Ice Age to me but I am no historian, then again Iaptiev ~ ypatiah ~ hypatia.
