…After I discovered Steinem’s grandmother’s name, Ochs, I wondered if there were any listed in the cemetery book, In Memory Of. I knew I had seen the name Oaks which is how it is pronounced. I found this listing, but haven’t found an Ochs yet. I then recalled a Delamare who was attacked by a lion while hunting in Africa and tried to look it up. I found John Delamare.
When I found the Four Oaks, I wondered if it was 4 Ochs. Could Cox be C. Ox ~ Ochs or could Delemar just be one the connection.
