…to visit the UNC campus with 3 of her classmates. She returned in 1992, drove around and then left for Asheville. She had a connection in Asheville she had forgotten about in 1972 also when she attended the Beta Club convention. Kay came back in 1993 without a vehicle, had surgery, left in May and then came back in 1995 briefly. She went to Wilmington then came back in 1996. Kay left again and returned in 1998 and has remained here since. She suspects psychic connections from her 1972 visit were responsible for her 1992 visit plus Kay’s own memories of having been here, she was acting out, and had been doing most of her life. Kay and her memories have been drifting with the wind it seems. This is how she was entangled with Kaye Gibbon and others in Chapel Hill. This is also true with the other places she has visited since 1970.
