Bumgardner worked at the 7-11 and was held up between 11 PM and 7 AM. She was attending Law School at North Carolina Central University. She completed her degree and is now practicing law. I think Charlotte McGraw was mixed up in this too in New York.
Kay lived in Cary, NC and frequently traveled down Walnut Street to Academy Street where she attended AA meetings.
