I think he was more or less conning people for money by telling them these things would happen, people would create them in their minds and then live them in their lives and in their communities. Maybe that’s why Cassius Gibbs and Liston McKinney ended up in a brawl and the library in Swan Quarter, NC was burned because of such quackery and frivolity.
