I don’t need God or Jesus to be positive or to think positive or to understand what I put into my brain…

…is going to dictate my behavior somewhere down the road.   And I sure as heck don’t recall GOD being all that positive.  He put his failures off on his own son to have to deal with.  God’s the one who needed redemption.
