…this would explain how my Uncle came to operate that pumping station and how my cousin eventually lost his life by running off the road into water. Barbara Berry also lost her life in a similar manner. I don’t know how much of a part these films played in causing these problems but it is clear they must have triggered something.
It could be the men who came to Hyde NC to build the Mattamuskeet pumping station which was later converted into a lodge.
